Cotton bags can be recycled at the end of their life cycle. For this purpose, Unibag has a Post-consumer Recovery Program for Reusable Bags, which has set up containers in different parts of the country to deposit bags in poor condition and then send them for recycling to properly close their life cycle.
An interesting fact is that the recovered cotton bags are used to manufacture fiber for thermal insulation.
